sidekicks-photoThe Dallas Sidekicks indoor soccer team enjoyed a long, rich 19-year history that included winning four league championships and playing to sell-out crowds in Dallas before the demise of indoor soccer finally caught up with the organization and the team went dormant in 2004. In 2012, the Sidekicks were relaunched for their 20th season, and the organization tapped The Remedy to assist it with the club’s rebirth. The Remedy was tasked producing all of the team’s marketing and collateral materials, producing all of its print , electronic, and digital ads, and managing the organization’s overall brand. Additionally, The Remedy was charged with scripting and producing the team’s game day events. The Remedy began with a preseason marketing campaign that featured the tag line THE TRADITION BEGINS AGAIN in an effort to connect the past with the present. The campaign was a great success and included a redesigned website, revamped social media applications, print and digital advertising, digital billboards, and grassroots marketing initiatives.

Ultimately, the team sold out its inaugural home game as the new iteration of the Dallas Sidekicks and quickly became the crown jewel of its league. The Sidekicks’ in-game atmosphere also became the standard bearer in the league, thanks in part to The Remedy’s game day presentation. Not only did The Remedy script and produce the events, but The Remedy also created all of the graphics for the video boards and 360-facia rings inside the arena and produced an original theme song for the team. In all, The Remedy was able to assist the Sidekicks return in grand fashion with a winning marketing formula, championship brand management, and first-class event production that provided unforgettable entertainment to the fans in attendance.

THE REMEDY SCRIPTED AND PRODUCED ALL OF THE SIDEKICKS’ HOME GAMES DURING THE TEAM’S INAUGURAL SEASON. THIS INCLUDED DEVELOPING THE GAME DAY EVENT LOG AND THE LOG FOR THE TELEVISION BROADCAST OF THE GAMES, WRITING SCRIPTS FOR THE IN-ARENA HOSTESS AND PUBLIC ADDRESS ANNOUNCER, AND SCRIPTING ALL OF THE AUDIO/VISUAL ELEMENTS THAT RUN IN THE ARENA AS PART OF THE GAME DAY PRESENTATION. THE REMEDY ALSO SERVED AS GAME DAY PRODUCER FOR ALL GAMES, DIRECTING ALL GAME DAY OPERATIONS AND ENSURING THAT THOSE IN ATTENDANCE EXPERIENCED AN EXCITING ATMOSPHERE THAT LEFT FANS EAGER TO COME BACK.
