The Remedy was recently selected by the North Texas franchisee of Smiling Moose Deli to assist it with the launch of its third restaurant in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Smiling Moose Deli is unique restaurant concept that offers a wide selection of hot and cold sandwiches, healthy wraps, custom chopped salads, savory soups, fresh-baked cookies and pastries, and breakfast all day, all with a local neighborhood deli feel. The deli provides superior food and unprecedented customer service, both staples of the Smiling Moose experience.
Based in Colorado, Smiling Moose Deli will add its 19th location when the new restaurant opens in Denton, TX, near the campus of the University of North Texas. The Remedy has been tapped by the franchise’s management to assist with the marketing and advertising around the grand opening, which is expected to be May 1, 2013.
Specifically, The Remedy will devise a marketing and advertising calendar around the launch and its immediate aftermath. The Remedy will also create all of the marketing collateral and advertising elements for the new restaurant, along with designing and executing a media relations plan.
“We are very excited to be working with the local Smiling Moose Deli franchisee and think this concept has a great opportunity to be a hit in Denton,” said Stephen Evans, President of The Remedy. “With the built-in student base within a very close proximity of the location and all of the foot traffic and vehicle traffic in and around downtown Denton on any given day, we are very optimistic that Smiling Moose will take off quickly and soon become a favorite option for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.”
Once open the restaurant will offer a fun, relaxing environment for fast-paced diners and their families. It will also add a truly Denton twist with live music on the spacious patio to go along with the franchise-wide weekly specials that include FREE COOKIE WEDNESDAY where customers receive a free cookie of their choice with the purchase of a large sandwich, salad, or wrap and NO MEAT, NO WHEAT FRIDAY where all vegetarian and gluten-free sandwiches are $1 off.
