The Dallas Sidekicks are back, and The Remedy is assisting with the relaunch of one of indoor soccer’s most successful brands. The Sidekicks will return for their 20th season in November 2012 in the Allen Event Center led by indoor soccer legend Tatu, who will serve as the team’s head coach and general manager.

The Remedy, a Dallas, TX-based branding solutions firm, will assist with the organization’s advertising and marketing efforts, along with providing event production services to the team.

The Remedy will create all of the Sidekicks’ marketing collateral and advertising elements, including print, online, and digital outdoor advertising. Additionally, The Remedy will design and produce a new website for the team and help overhaul its online social media platforms.

Finally, the Remedy will handle all event production duties for the Sidekicks. The Remedy will script and direct all events, including serving as game day producer for all games. Additionally, The Remedy will create all in-game videos and graphics for the in-arena video boards and 360 fascia ring.

“We are very pleased that (Dallas Sidekicks majority owner) Ronnie Davis and the Sidekicks have placed a great deal of faith in The Remedy by allowing us to assist with the relaunch of this great franchise,” said Stephen Evans, President of The Remedy. “The Sidekicks have been a staple of the Dallas sports scene for many years and their four indoor soccer championships speak to the great tradition of the franchise. We are excited to now be a part of that tradition and hope to help grow the organization even more with a successful 2012-13 season.”

The Sidekicks played in Dallas from 1984-2004 and became one of indoor soccer’s most successful franchises, producing numerous championships and all-star players. One of the most decorated players in Sidekicks history is Tatu, a six-time MVP, an 11-time scoring champion, a 12-time all-star, and a three-time championship series MVP. Tatu returns to the organization he helped build as the head coach, general manager, and minority owner.

The team is operated by majority owner Ronnie Davis, who is joined by minority partners Jim Tolbert and Sonnie Williams, in addition to Tatu.

The Sidekicks return season begins on November 3. The team plays an eight-game home schedule and a 16-game regular-season schedule that runs through February 2013.
