Uprising Records recording artists Hunter-Z and their All Star Band will rock the house with a live New Year’s Eve concert featuring its hits written and performed by band member Carl Storie, including Dancin’ Shoes, which made it all the way to #18 on the Billboard Top 100 Chart, and Leap of Faith, among others.

The All Star Band features touring/recording artists Rodney Bowens, Tempest Barnes, and Mikaela Kahn, as well as a cast of nationally-known musicians and producers Gordon Pope, Stanley Glenn, Lawrence Peabody Ferrell, Geka James, and Chris Borin.

To make the New Year’s Eve experience even more magical, party-goers will also be “on-set” for the filming of an upcoming television series currently in production. Producers will be shooting crowd shots during the Hunter-Z concert for an episode of Just Noise, which is slated for major network pick-up. The series was created around the lives of members of Hunter-Z, who during their formative years in the music industry in the ’60s and ’70s worked with the likes of Billy Squire, Bob Dylan, Jon Bon Jovi, Cheap Trick, Ted Nugent, and many more.

The Remedy is assisting Hunter-Z with its promotion of the New Year’s Eve event, including developing a website and other marketing and collateral materials for distribution, including rack cards, flyers, and digital billboards.

The event begins at 7:00 pm on New Year’s Eve with a reception at the Courtyard by Marriott in Allen, TX. Hunter-Z will be joined on stage by special guests and TWG recording artists The Christian Brooks Band, who will open the show with their trademark mix of Cajun blues and Texas honkey-tonk rock, topped with a little Southern boogie for a performance sure to get you in the partying spirit.
